History of the Peachtree-Atlanta Chaîne des Rôtisseurs
Founded over thirty years ago, the Peachtree-Atlanta Bailliage is a passionate community dedicated to celebrating exceptional food and wine. Our chapter boasts a rich heritage; one of our esteemed founders, Yves Durand, was a celebrated sommelier, author of an authoritative text on Bordeaux wine, and the namesake of the world’s most famous wine puller.
Our events offer an incredible blend of education, entertainment, and world-class gourmet dining, brought together by a welcoming group of members from diverse backgrounds. We partner with exceptional local chefs, granting them full creative freedom to showcase their culinary talents through custom menus. To complement these dishes, our sommeliers curate flawless pairings drawn directly from our private cellar. By maintaining our own collection, we ensure every wine is poured only when it has reached peak maturity—profoundly elevating the entire gastronomic experience.
Membership is by invitation, offering the opportunity to attend exclusive events and connect with fellow epicureans who share a lifelong passion for the culinary arts. As a member-focused nonprofit organization, our Bailliage operates entirely through the dedication of our volunteer officers.

Our Singular Purpose
We connect passionate food lovers and culinary professionals through unforgettable dining experiences, providing valuable visibility to local chefs and restaurant owners. Partnering with our Bailliage highlights your establishment through prestigious recognition awards, active social media features, and exclusive coverage in our digital magazine, Cuvée. To honor their dedication to culinary excellence, our partner restaurants are proudly featured on our website as recipients of official Chaîne recognition for providing exemplary service, food, and ambiance.
Our members—including established wine and food professionals—are deeply embedded in the Atlanta culinary scene. They serve as primary authorities and trusted resources whenever individuals or corporations seek premier dining recommendations.

Community Involvement
From intimate chef’s tables to grand banquets, our events bring together food lovers and culinary artisans in unforgettable settings throughout Atlanta. We have hosted charity events that have support nonprofits that provide food for seniors so they can maintain their independence and their dignity.
We are also proud to sponsor young chefs and sommeliers in regional, national, and international competitions, with several of our supported professionals achieving distinguished national recognition.
Awarded Restaurants
We proudly recognize and celebrate local restaurants that exemplify the highest standards of culinary excellence and hospitality, helping to foster a vibrant gastronomic community. We understand that an exceptional dining experience is the result of a dedicated team effort, and therefore honor not only the chefs and culinary staff, but also the talented professionals throughout the restaurant—from the kitchen brigade and support staff to the servers, sommeliers, and hospitality team members who work together to create memorable experiences for every guest.
